70 percent of the world’s fresh water is used  for agriculture. That means that everything  we eat impacts the water supply. Interestingly, nearly every manufacturing process also uses water. So does construction activity. Water lies hidden in everything we use.

1    It takes about 140 liters of water to grow the coffee beans and process them to make one cup of coffee.
About  25,000 liters of water is required to grow a day’s food for a family of four.
It takes 200 liters of water to produce one glass of pasteurized milk.
It takes more than 40 liters of water to produce one slice of wheat bread. if you eat the bread with a slice of cheese then you add another 50 liters.
Brushing your teeth takes around 8 liters of water
A five minute shower can use 150 liters of water
Leaky taps and faucets account for waste up to 200 liters of water a day per household.

A single use of  toilet flush uses 10 litres of water.

Every square foot of construction requires about 1400 liters of fresh water.

                         SO, EVERY DROP COUNTS.
